Lakeside Chevrolet Uses Bunker Hill Dragstrip to Reward Employees

Bunker Hill, Ind (March 23, 2023) Huntington County’s hometown Chevrolet dealer, Lakeside Chevrolet in Huntington, Indiana is teaming up with Bunker Hill Dragstrip to provide a fun and exciting employee appreciation event on September 17th, 2023 during Bunker Hill Dragstrip’s Summit Super Series bracket race.
The Summit Super Series race presented by Lakeside Chevrolet will not only have Billy's Auto Repair Jr. Dragsters, All Seasons General Contracting Sportsman, Brandt’s Heating and Cooling Modified, and Bellman Oil Top Classes, but it will have a daily driver class that consists of Lakeside Chevrolet employees.
Lakeside Chevrolet employees will be racing for a trophy and bragging rights.
Jerry Weidner, the general manager at Lakeside Chevrolet is excited for the opportunity to treat his employees to a fun day at the races. “I am extremely excited to partner with Bunker Hill for this year's Summit Super Series race! The dealership world is very fast paced and compares a lot to a drag race! Planning, prepping, and fine tuning our processes to provide the best and fastest customer service possible. Everyone in the store pushes hard, day in and day out, and really deserves a day to let loose! I am very thankful for Bunker Hill allowing me to give my employees the opportunity and thrill of running down a drag strip”
In addition, all class winners at this event will receive a special trophy courtesy of Lakeside Chevrolet.
“We are very excited to work with Lakeside Chevrolet to give their employees a day that they will never forget. Maybe some will even join their colleague, Mike Finney, who is a points racer at Bunker Hill dragstrip, and start racing on a regular basis. Even if they don’t it will be great to see them having fun, and we are honored that Jerry chose Bunker Hill Dragstrip to reward his hard working employees,” explains track owner Terry McMillen.
